PAY WHAT YOU CAN - August 2025
Dear Self-Funding Artists,
At Weird Jungle we all love music and we also know that many artists are finding it hard at the moment. As former musicians and DJ’s we decided to come together to find a way to help you get your music finished and ready for release, but without blowing your budget.
Throughout August 2025, each of the Weird Jungle engineers is offering 10 spaces in their diaries for self-funding artists to book on a ‘Pay-What-You-Can’ basis. If your budget is £100, £50, £10 or £0 that’s ok - it really is what you can afford at this time.
We’re on the side of musicians, artists, engineers, producers, song-writers and creators so get in touch and let's get your project over the finish line and sounding the best it can.
Yours sonically,
The Weird Jungle team - Katie, Stephen, Izzy, Carla & Brendon
How It Works
- Fill in the form below with ALL of the booking information and add PAY WHAT YOU CAN at the top of the Message box.
- You will need to include the budget you have for the project, either per track or in total
- Carla, our bookings manager will then get back to you and confirm whether your preferred engineer has any PWYC spaces available.
- If so, she'll proceed to book in a date to master your project.
- If not then you’ll be given a choice of other WJ engineers with space or you’ll be able to book in with your preferred engineer at their full-rate.
Terms
- Each Weird Jungle engineer has 10 ‘PWYC spaces’ in their diary in August 2025.
- A space in the diary can be filled by a single, an EP or an album.
- PWYC projects are booked on a first-come-first-served basis.
- You must state the number of tracks and your budget - either per track or in total - when you get in touch.
- Standard Weird Jungle fees for revisions and mix-resubmissions still apply and are charged at £25 per hour (minimum 1 hour).
- This campaign is only available to new clients that are paying for the project themselves, either directly or through their own record label.
- If you’re a self-funding artist that we’ve worked with before and want to enquire about booking a PWYC project, please get in touch with Carla directly on hello@weirdjungle.com. We can’t make any guarantees or promises but we may be able to work something out.
